XXI General Assembly of the World Federation of Democratic Youth (WFDY)

The XXI General Assembly of the World Federation of Democratic Youth (WFDY) was held from 20–26 May 2025 in Windhoek, Namibia, hosted by the National Youth Council of Namibia. Bringing together over 140 youth delegates from 53 countries, the event united progressive organizations under the theme “United against imperialism! For the rights of the youth, to build a world of social justice and equality.” The Assembly discussed global youth struggles, adopted a new political declaration, and elected new leadership reaffirming WFDY’s commitment to peace, solidarity, and the fight for equality and democratic rights worldwide.
